Cliffbound

When the choice of living for yourself or living for others is on the line, what wolf will you choose?

Cliffbound explores the life of Prince Elm. An Omega Prince being married off to end a war he had no part in starting. When his Father and Papa disagree on the outcome of his future its up to Elm to either sink or swim.  Which will you do?

Cliffbound is my debut game into the wonderful world of game developing!

Before you jump into the story here's some things of note!

Identifying the Characters:

This is an Omegaverse story

Alphas are referred to as Fathers by their children

Omegas are referred to as Papas by their children

Standard Omegaverse Biology Explained!

Alphas are usually larger in stature and size and can not carry children in their own bodies, but CAN get others pregnant.

Omegas are smaller then their counter parts and CAN carry children in their own bodies when reproducing.

Betas tend to be larger then a Omega and smaller then a Alpha, and are entirely sterile.

Cultural Differences:

Alphas are by standard, in positions of higher power and ranking then Betas and Omegas

Though they make up the vast majority of the peoples, Omegas are commonly considered Second Class Citizens until they are married. Made clear by the plethora of Alpha only or Alpha/Beta only businesses, rooms, careers, and even entire streets where unwed Omegas would be wholly unwelcome.

Once wed a Omega gains the rights of access that his husband has.

There is a higher rate of Omegas and Betas being born then there are Alphas. This puts Alphas in the position of power to choose their mates. Omegas on the other hand are in a position of weakness, because of a lack of rights, they are forced to attempt to “Marry up” by marrying a Alpha.

 Betas tend to marry other Betas. However due to decreasing Father rates over the years. Unwed Omegas have begun to marry Betas as well in order to secure at least some freedom in society.

Bonus information:

Some Societies with low birth rates allow Alphas to take multiple Omegas as partners. Creating Small Polycule Harems.

The Omegaverse Feudal System 

Betas are ineligible to inherit titles as they can not continue to royal blood line.

In Order to Inherit the title of King one MUST have been a Prince before marriage.

If Two Princes are married no matter if they are Omega/Omega or Alpha/Omega or Alpha/Alpha. Both Princes Inherit the title of King, and Rule Equally.

As by standard Alphas are given higher positions of power in this universe, the active Monarchy attempts to keep their titles above their spouses. So it is common practice when a Alpha is of eligible nobility, Ie. A Prince. It is Standard for these men to marry an Duke Instead of another Prince, so that when they do inherit the throne, the Alpha will not have to share the title of King with a Omega. Those dukes do not inherit the title King, and will instead be referred to as Ruler, or Second (Meaning Second to the King).

If a Omega with the title of Prince, married a Alpha with a Lower title, ie-Duke etc. Since the lower titled Alpha would not be allowed to rank higher then the Princely Omega. The Omega in this instance would become ineligible to inherit the throne. The Crown would simply pass to the next eligible relative.

This visual novel was developed and worked on by TamaCitris through out the month of February and is their Debut Game.

Tama-I worked wildly hard on developing this game. From creating all of the assets, learning coding for the first time, writing music for the first time this was truly a labor of love.  I spent all of February sleep deprived and filled with thoughts of Princes and there world. So I hope you enjoy playing it and I hope you get as much from it as I did from making it.  I'm beyond happy to welcome you to my first ever game.
